Itinerary

This is a breakdown of where we are going, and when. Keep in mind that this is all up for change. We may decide that after a few months we’ve had enough and pack it up. Or we may decide to settle for a while in some quiet village in Argentina and teach English. Who Knows? But it’s a decent overview of what we’d like to do.

Anyone that is going to be in any area around the times we will, give us an email and see if we might be able to meet up. Also, if anyone has family or friends in these areas that would like to house a couple lost Americans please let us know. Contacts abroad are always welcome–plus it’s a much, much richer experience when you get to meet locals and hear what they think about the country.

Ok–so the original plan is off.  By a couple months.  I’m gonna update it in the next few days, but till then here is where we have been thus far:

We have travelled 38521 kilometers and visited 111 destinations.

You aren’t going to Ecuador?! Im hurt:(. Good luck, safe travels, and I will try to get you some contacts in El Salvador (my sister had been a bit overwhelmed with nursing school, but promises to get back to me!).

I am super jealous and intend to live vicariously through y’all. And maybe will learn a thing or two from your experience as I hope to do something similar one day!!

When you are in Japan, I’m sure you’ll go to Tokyo. In Tokyo, go into some random, tall building and sneak into the elevator. Many of the tallest buildings have an unadvertised free observation area at the top. You can see the whole city + Mt. Fuji up there. It’s quite nice.

Hey-
Casa Ridgway is a great, inexpensive play to stay in San Jose, Costa Rica…..Also, if you’re in Monteverde, there is an awesome dairy called La Lecheria (sp?) that has the best ice cream……

I’m SO excited for you two. I didn’t really believe Chris when he texted me that he was leaving for a year to travel. But, I guess I was completely wrong!

I’m sorry I missed seeing you both over Thanksgiving. I know you’re going to have quite an adventure. I can’t wait to read about it on your blog.
