Itinerary

This is a breakdown of where we are going, and when. Keep in mind that this is all up for change. We may decide that after a few months we’ve had enough and pack it up. Or we may decide to settle for a while in some quiet village in Argentina and teach English. Who Knows? But it’s a decent overview of what we’d like to do.

Anyone that is going to be in any area around the times we will, give us an email and see if we might be able to meet up. Also, if anyone has family or friends in these areas that would like to house a couple lost Americans please let us know. Contacts abroad are always welcome–plus it’s a much, much richer experience when you get to meet locals and hear what they think about the country.

You aren’t going to Ecuador?! Im hurt:(. Good luck, safe travels, and I will try to get you some contacts in El Salvador (my sister had been a bit overwhelmed with nursing school, but promises to get back to me!).

I am super jealous and intend to live vicariously through y’all. And maybe will learn a thing or two from your experience as I hope to do something similar one day!!

All the best!

When you are in Japan, I’m sure you’ll go to Tokyo. In Tokyo, go into some random, tall building and sneak into the elevator. Many of the tallest buildings have an unadvertised free observation area at the top. You can see the whole city + Mt. Fuji up there. It’s quite nice.

Hey-
Casa Ridgway is a great, inexpensive play to stay in San Jose, Costa Rica…..Also, if you’re in Monteverde, there is an awesome dairy called La Lecheria (sp?) that has the best ice cream……

Nice! I’m so glad you are both out on the road. Beth and I are certainly thinking about taking some travels. Maybe we can meet up during your Africa or India leg. Good luck with everything. Chris stay away from those folk bands!

I don’t think any two of my friends are less likely to get robbed than you two are.

And on average, I have some tough friends.

Go Saints!

I’m SO excited for you two. I didn’t really believe Chris when he texted me that he was leaving for a year to travel. But, I guess I was completely wrong!

I’m sorry I missed seeing you both over Thanksgiving. I know you’re going to have quite an adventure. I can’t wait to read about it on your blog.

I missed you in Mexico by a few days…I’m headed to Cabo this Wednesday.

Good luck and safe travels…

Love,
Pooja

What an amazing experience for you two. I’ll go with Rosie on the whole being robbed thing. No one in their right mind would attempt to rob Chris.

All the best.

LoYo,
Are you going to update your calendar of where you have been and adjust your future plans? I’m going totally crazy at the Priory right now and I want to dream about meeting up with you guys somewhere this summer.
